Job summary

The Flik Culinary Internship Program offers a paid opportunity for culinary students to work in a dynamic kitchen culture at the Indianapolis facility. Interns rotate through FOH and BOH, learn from mentors, and gain exposure to wellness and sustainability initiatives.

Open to students enrolled in Hospitality Management or Culinary Arts programs, the internship runs Summer 2027 through Fall 2027 with 20–40 hours weekly, includes meals and uniforms, and provides hands-on training and professional

Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a college/university pursuing Hospitality Management and/or Culinary Arts.
• Must meet GPA requirements for internship program.
• Sanitation training completed.
• Knife skills coursework or Intro to Culinary coursework.
• Available to work 20–40 hours per week based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through FOH and BOH stations as needed.
• Engage with guests and tailor plates to dietary needs.
• Meet with the team dietitian.
• Review culinary and front-of-house standards.
• Learn wellness and sustainability initiatives.
• Adhere to platinum service standards.
• Practice safety and sanitation protocols.
• Assist with catering events, including setup and execution.
• Develop professional relationships and enhance interpersonal skills.
