Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Cardiopulmonary Patient Educator in the Bronx, NY to apply clinical skills, educate patients and caregivers about PAH therapies, and provide infusion training and ongoing clinical support.

The role is full-time with approximately 85% travel; you will consult with physicians and the sales team, visit patients across multiple counties, and participate in weekend on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• RN license in NY (unrestricted) required
• 2 years in a critical care/acute care setting with high‑tech infusions or 2 years high‑tech home infusion experience
• Current CPR certification required
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance required

Responsibilities

• Consult and collaborate with physicians, clinicians, pharmacy operations, and the sales team to coordinate the patient’s plan of care.
• Assist patients initiating or transitioning to infused or inhaled therapies for PAH.
• Develop deep relationships with patients and caregivers in a one‑on‑one setting.
• Participate in the on‑call rotation for weekend coverage approximately once every 4-6 weeks.
• Travel to see patients, support the sales team, and for training as needed.
• Spend approximately 60% of time visiting patients in the Bronx, Westchester County, and Upper Manhattan.
• Spend approximately 20% of time visiting patients on Long Island and into CT.
• Spend approximately 20% of time in Upstate NY and other East Coast states.
• Work from home approximately 10-15% of the time when not visiting patients.
