Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join the Post Anesthesia Care unit. You will provide general nursing care to patients and families across the continuum of care on an evening shift, contributing to safety, quality, and teamwork.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients, working with LPNs and UAPs as defined by the Ohio Nurse Practice Act. Ohio license and BLS are required, with BSN preferred for ongoing advancement.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Ohio and/or current Registered Nurse license in good standing with a multi-state compact state.
• BLS certification is required for patient care and safety.
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide general nursing care to patients and families throughout the continuum of care.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for assigned patients.
• Collaborate with licensed practical nurses and unlicensed assistive personnel as per Ohio Nurse Practice Act.
• Participate in process improvement activities to support clinical quality and safety.
