Qualifications

• Current RN license plus BLS; ACLS required within first year.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in PACU.
• Develop, monitor, evaluate, update care plans.
• Document and communicate patient conditions and responses.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments.
• Follow physician and nursing orders accurately.
• Coordinate discharge needs for patients.
• Educate patients and families on post-anesthesia care.
