Job summary

OhioHealth in Columbus, OH is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide general nursing care across the continuum in acute care settings. This 0530 to 1600 schedule supports 24/7/365 operations and the Post Anesthesia Care Pacu department.

The RN will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, delegate tasks, and participate in process improvements with a focus on safety, quality, and patient outcomes. Applicants must hold an Ohio RN license and BLS; BSN preferred within five years.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the State of Ohio.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• BSN required at 5 years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assessment/Diagnosis - perform initial and ongoing health status assessments.
• Outcomes Identification/Planning - document and plan nursing interventions.
• Implementation/Evaluation - evaluate responses and adjust care plans.
• Leadership - participate in process improvements for quality and safety.
• Operations - maintain safety, quality, and efficiency in duties.
