This role emphasizes patient safety, rapid response to complications, and coordination with anesthesia and perioperative staff. The RN will manage airway support, monitor neurological and cardiac status, perform initial wound care, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• ACLS obtained within 30 days of start date.
• BCLS obtained within 30 days of start date.
• RN license in good standing (RN).
• Registered Nurse Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the immediate post-operative setting.
• Collaborate with the surgical and anesthesia teams to ensure patient safety.
• Apply the nursing process with critical thinking and evidence-based practice.
• Monitor patient condition, document changes, and respond to complications.
• Educate patients and families about condition, treatment, and follow-up.
