Job summary

Mercy Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room at Lourdes Hospital. The role requires strong clinical skills to provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care, ensuring patient safety and coordinating with the surgical team.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license with OR experience and may have CNOR, BLS/ACLS, or PALS credentials; two years in critical care is preferred, with opportunities for professional development.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree in Nursing
• Current state RN license
• BLS/ACLS or PALS preferred with ability to obtain if required
• CNOR preferred but not required
• SGNA preferred but not required
• Two years of RN experience in Critical Care preferred

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment
• Observe the surgery and assist to maintain a safe environment
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with the team
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care and discharge instructions
• Other duties as assigned
