Job summary

Mercy Health in Ohio seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Operating Room. You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team, perform pre-, intra-, and post-operative care, and develop care plans to optimize outcomes in a high-stakes surgical environment.

Qualifications

• Requires RN licensure and ability to obtain/maintain state license.
• Two years RN experience, preferably in Critical Care or OR.
• Peri-op 101 training preferred but not required.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications required or to be obtained within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care team to deliver surgical patient care.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment in the OR setting.
• Oversee pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care and discharge instructions.
• Coordinate nursing care with the surgical team and other providers.
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment during operative procedures.
