Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health seeks a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room at Lourdes Hospital. You will lead perioperative patient care, collaborate with the surgical team, and deliver high-quality nursing care across pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license, with 2+ years in critical care preferred, and certifications such as BLS; ACLS or PALS may be required. CNOR and SGNA are a plus.

Qualifications

• RN licensure (state) is required.
• Two years of RN experience in Critical Care is preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS or PALS preferred and must be obtained if not current.
• CNOR certification preferred, not required.
• SGNA certification preferred, not required.
• Peri-op 101 training preferred, not required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessment in the OR.
• Observe and support the surgical team to maintain a safe environment.
• Manage nursing care in the OR and coordinate with other providers.
• Provide pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care and discharge instructions.
