Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure is required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ACLS certification.
• Department-specific certifications may be required.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; strong critical care background.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Evaluates and integrates evidence-based practice into care.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops, implements and evaluates the care plan.
• Uses nursing judgment to tailor care to patient needs.
• Manages patient assignments and delegation with team members.
• Develops patient/family education and documents per standards.
• Supports discharge planning and community resource referrals.
• Precepts and mentors new staff; participates in development activities.
• Engages in departmental committees as needed.
