Job summary

Mass General Brigham in Boston is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The role supports adult and pediatric patients around surgery, with 36 hours weekly in a rotating day/night schedule and onsite work at 267 Charles Street.

Qualifications

ASN or BSN required, BSN strongly preferred.
Minimum of 2 years acute care nursing experience.
Previous experience in a critical care environment (ED, ICU, PACU) preferred.
We cannot consider new graduates at this time.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate, detailed reports, and records.
Administer medications to patients and monitor for reactions or side effects.
Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
Consult and coordinate with healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
Modify patient treatment plans as indicated by patients' responses and conditions.
