MelroseWakefield Hospital in the Boston area is seeking a Complex Care RN to provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders in a high-acuity setting.

The role requires MA RN licensure, BLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience, with BSN preferred. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, coordinating discharge planning, and supporting staff development within a dynamic team.

Qualifications

• Massachusetts RN Licensure required.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.
• Department-specific certifications may be required depending on patient care area.
• 1 year of RN experience required; level determines exact requirements.
• Level I–IV experience framework based on RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives.
• Integrates evidence-based practice into clinical care.
• Conducts and documents accurate clinical assessments.
• Develops and evaluates the patient's individualized plan of care.
• Uses professional nursing judgment to tailor the plan of care based on patient needs.
• Manages own patient assignment and delegates tasks accordingly.
• Develops education plans for patients and families and documents per standards.
• Supports patient/family rights and advance directives.
• Continuously evaluates and revises the care plan as health status changes.
• Develops comprehensive discharge plans with appropriate resources.
