Tufts Medicine's MelroseWakefield Hospital seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). This role provides professional nursing care per physician orders, assesses patients, plans care, and ensures smooth transitions from PACU with a focus on safety and outcomes.

Minimum qualifications include MA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS, and at least 1 year of RN experience with a strong critical care background.

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Department-specific certifications may be required
• Minimum 1 year RN experience
• Strong critical care background

Responsibilities

• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and applies evidence-based practice to care.
• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized plans of care with nursing judgment.
• Performs accurate clinical assessments and documents accordingly.
• Manages patient assignments and supports team members to meet patient needs.
• Assists with discharge planning and patient/family education.
