Job summary

MACC is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to perform post-operative care in the PACU, including assessments and management of potential complications. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.

The role requires current MA RN licensure, BLS/ACLS certifications, and a commitment to ongoing education. Responsibilities include maintaining the plan of care, participating in quality improvements, and ensuring patient advocacy and safety in a fast-paced ambulatory

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Responsibilities

• Understands all aspects of post-operative care, including assessments and potential complications.
• Maintains and evaluates clinical practice and emphasizes continuing education.
• Participates in quality review audits as assigned by manager or designee.
• Fosters a positive ambulatory surgery center environment and acts as a team member.
• Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team and participates in shared leadership.
• Organizes and maintains the plan of care for PACU patients based on assessments.
