Job summary

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Indiana or compact licensure.
• BCLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Experience with PACU or perioperative nursing preferred.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process in PACU.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report condition changes.
• Administer meds and monitor for adverse effects.
• Support anesthesia recovery and monitor vitals.
• Educate patients and families on post-op care.
• Maintain infection control and patient safety.
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff.
