Job summary

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role required.
• RN licensure in state may be required; state licensure/compact state licensure as applicable.
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, NRP preferred.
• Demonstrates knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care per nursing process.
• Assesses patients thoroughly and documents findings accurately.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within documented competency.
• Collaborates with the care team to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in code team activities.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, plans, and discharge.
• Maintains infection control and safety in the care environment.
• Documents patient care promptly in the medical record.
• Participates in audits and performance improvement initiatives.
• Engages in professional development to maintain clinical competency.
