Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, IN is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for full-time, 0.9 FTE, days with weekend premium. The role includes OR services and trauma care, with call rotation and holiday rotation.

You will provide patient-centered care, administer medications, assist during procedures, educate patients and families, and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Requires RN license and BCLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred; 0-2 years experience.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in an acute care setting required.
• State RN licensure required or Compact State Licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies, protocols, and the nursing process.
• Assists physicians during procedures within the scope of documented competency and skill level.
• Administers prescribed medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration in accordance with standards of practice.
• Documents patient care thoroughly and promptly in the medical record.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in CPR and code team activities, as appropriate.
• Provides patient and family education on medical conditions, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
