Incredible Health in Tucson, AZ is hiring a PACU RN to provide immediate post-operative care, monitor vitals, administer medications, and coordinate with surgical teams for smooth patient transfer and discharge.

The role requires ADN or higher in nursing and an active RN license with BLS/ACLS. Expect teamwork, strong communication, EMR proficiency, and patient education responsibilities.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.

• 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; team player.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitor vitals, and manage anesthesia-related symptoms.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure smooth patient transfer from the OR to PACU and discharge home.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, including pain management and wound care.
• Maintain accurate documentation in EMR compliant with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Salary: $61,340 to $100,360 /year
