Nurses with experience in Cardiac Monitoring, Circulate, Pediatric, Presurgical assessment, Robotic surgery, Transplant, or Wound & drain care are encouraged to apply. Qualifications: ADN or higher, active RN license, 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity experience preferred; BLS and ACLS from the American Heart Association.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work in a team.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care, monitor vital signs, and manage anesthesia symptoms.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for transitions to PACU and discharge.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association

• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Salary: $61,340 to $100,360 /year
