Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a PACU RN in Temecula, CA to provide immediate post-operative care across diverse surgical services. The role requires ADN or higher, an active RN license, and BLS/ACLS certification.

Flexible shift coverage includes day, night and mid shifts with full-time, part-time and per diem options. Ideal candidates bring 1 year of PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity experience and are proficient with EMR systems.

Qualifications

  • ADN or higher nursing degree required.
  • Active, unrestricted RN license.
  • 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity experience preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.
  • Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate post-operative care, monitor vitals and manage anesthesia-related symptoms.
  • Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and surgical teams for patient transitions from OR to PACU and home.
  • Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care and potential complications.
  • Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with hospital policies.

Qualifications
  • Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
  • 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems
Responsibilities
  • Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
  • Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
  • Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures
