Job summary

The Incredible Health network in St. Helena, CA is hiring a PACU Registered Nurse to provide post-operative care across diverse surgical patients. Day and mid shifts available; full-time and part-time roles offered.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.

• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vitals and anesthesia recovery.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for smooth patient transitions from OR to PACU and discharge.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital policies.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Salary: $80,000 to $110,000 /year
