Job summary

Incredible Health seeks a PACU RN in Seattle, WA to provide immediate post-operative care across a range of surgical patients. You will monitor vitals, manage anesthesia-related symptoms, and administer medications per medical directives.

The role requires ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, and EMR proficiency, with strong teamwork and patient education skills. Shifts include day, night, and mid, with full-time, part-time, and per diem options.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
  • 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred.
  • BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing anesthesia-related symptoms.
  • Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure smooth patient transition from operating room to PACU and discharge home.
  • Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
