Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a PACU RN to provide immediate post-operative care for a variety of surgical patients in the Modesto area. The role requires RN licensure with ADN or higher and BLS/ACLS certification, along with solid experience in high-acuity settings.

You will collaborate with surgeons and anesthesiologists, manage vitals, administer medications, and educate patients on post-operative care. Strong EMR skills and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active RN license.
• 1 year PACU/ICU or high-acuity setting experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs and managing anesthesia-related symptoms.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from operating room to PACU to discharge home.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
