Job summary

Incredible Health is actively hiring a PACU RN in the El Paso, TX area to care for post-operative patients, monitor vital signs, and support anesthesia recovery. This role requires a nursing degree (ADN or higher) and an active RN license.

Shifts available: day, night, and mid; job types: full-time, part-time, and per diem. Expect collaboration with surgeons and anesthesiologists in a fast-paced hospital environment with strong EMR usage.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree required.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications per American Heart Association.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient with electronic medical record (EMR) systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to surgical patients; monitor vitals and manage anesthesia recovery.
• Administer prescribed medications and execute treatment plans as directed by medical staff.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists and surgical teams for smooth patient transitions to PACU and discharge.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care, pain management, wound care, and potential complications.
• Maintain accurate documentation in line with hospital policies.

Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Salary: $48,830 to $97,750 /year
