Job summary

Incredible Health is seeking a PACU RN in Glendale, AZ to provide post-operative care, monitor vitals, and support smooth patient transitions from the operating room to discharge. You will administer meds, manage pain, and collaborate with surgical teams.

Qualified candidates have ADN or higher, an active RN license, BLS/ACLS, 1 year PACU/ICU experience preferred, and strong communication and EMR skills. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), tuition assistance, PTO and a sign-on

Qualifications

• ADN or higher in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year PACU/ICU or similar high-acuity experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care and monitor vital signs.
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams for patient transitions.
• Educate patients and families on post-operative care and wound management.
• Maintain accurate documentation per hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in a PACU, ICU, or a similar high-acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

Responsibilities

• Provide immediate post-operative care to a variety of surgical patients, monitoring vital signs, and managing symptoms of anesthesia
• Administer prescribed medications and implement treatment plans as directed by medical staff
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams to ensure seamless patient transition from the operating room to the PACU to discharge home
• Educate patients and their families on post-operative care, including pain management, wound care, and potential complications
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with hospital policies and procedures

Salary: $61,340 to $100,360 /year
