Job summary

Talent With Heart is seeking a Hospital PACU Registered Nurse (RN) in Great Falls, Montana. This full-time, on-site role supports a surgical services division with strong nurse-to-patient ratios and supportive leadership.

Ideal candidates have 2–4 years of acute care experience, Montana RN licensure, active BLS/ACLS/PALS, and a background in post-anesthesia care. Flexible shifts and collaborative teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted RN license in Montana or endorsement eligibility.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required upon hire.
• 2–4 years of hospital medical/surgical or critical care experience.
• CCU/ICU exposure preferred; strong asepsis and IV skills.
• Proficient in basic computer/office tools.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Operative assessment and optimization for elective/outpatient procedures.
• Monitor and stabilize patients post-anesthesia; airway management and hemodynamics.
• Care for high-acuity post-operative patients with chest tubes, lines, and short-term ventilation needs.
• Wound, drain, and line management; ensure aseptic technique.
• Titrate IV medications for pain control and PANV; manage hypothermia and shivering.
• Coordinate care plans with providers, anesthesia, and nursing leadership.
• Discharge planning and hand-off reporting to inpatient units.
