Clear Concepts, Inc. is seeking a Hospital PACU Registered Nurse (RN) in Great Falls, Montana. This full-time, on-site role supports perioperative care with strong nurse-to-patient ratios and a collaborative, patient-centered culture.

You will manage pre-operative preparation, Phase I recovery, and post-operative observation, including airway management, IV therapy, lines, drains, and pain control. A supportive team and opportunities for professional development await.

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited nursing program; ADN required; BSN preferred.
• Active Montana RN license or endorsement eligible.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS required on hire.
• 2–4 years in acute Medical/Surgical or Critical Care.
• Preferred critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Operative Preparation: Assess, admit, and optimize patients for elective/outpatient procedures, ensure pre-op checklists and safety parameters.
• Phase I Recovery: Monitor and stabilize patients waking from anesthesia; manage airway/ventilation; monitor hemodynamics; perform neuro checks.
• Advanced Visual & Device Care: Monitor patients with chest tubes, central/arterial lines, IVs, ventilator support as needed.
• Wound & Line Management: Surveillance of surgical sites, dressings, drains; prevent post-op complications.
• Symptom & Pain Control: Titrate IV meds for acute post-op pain; manage PANV; use warming devices for hypothermia.
• Observation Unit Care: Care for observation patients from ED or post-surgical status.
• Collaborative Leadership: Coordinate with Providers, Anesthesia, Nurse Managers; guide LPNs/CNAs.
• Discharge & Transfer Planning: Use Aldrete score for discharge or hand-offs to inpatient units.
