Job summary

Advocate Health, at 37710 Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center - PACU, seeks a Nursing Assistant to support patient care in a fast-paced PACU setting. The role includes bathing, feeding, mobility assistance, and routine documentation in the EMR under RN supervision.

The position requires a GED/HS diploma, BLS within 45 days, and Nurse Aide in good standing. It is a full-time, benefits-eligible role with 4 ten-hour shifts starting early morning hours.

Qualifications

• GED or HS Diploma required.
• BLS certification within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing per State Registry.

Responsibilities

• Assists RN with daily care of patients including bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, activity orders and ambulation.
• Participates in admission, transfer and discharge process under supervision of RN.
• Performs rounding and communicates observations to RN.
• Maintains infection prevention and hand hygiene practices.
