Job summary

Advocate Health seeks a CNA/HUC for the Med Surg unit on the 3rd floor. 32 hours per week in a 1st shift with weekend and holiday rotation, 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role supports RN with daily patient care and documentation in the EMR.

Requirements include GED/HSED or high school diploma and BLS within 45 days; Nurse Aide in good standing per state registry is required. Benefits eligible and a safety-focused environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS certification within 45 days.
• Nurse Aide in good standing as indicated with the State Registry.
• GED/HSED or High School Diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Assist RN with daily patient care: bathing, hygiene, feeding, ambulation.
• Document in EMR; participate in admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Answer call lights promptly; coordinate tests and treatments.
• Maintain infection prevention and proper PPE usage.
• Assist with patient positioning, transfers, and skin care.
