Job summary

HCA Healthcare Colleton Hospital is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to ensure high quality, patient-centered care and coordinate all unit functions during the designated shift. In collaboration with the management team, the CNC directs, monitors, and evaluates nursing care in line with policies and the hospital's mission and values to support exceptional outcomes.

You will assist with admission and discharge, participate in quality assessments, collaborate with subject matter experts

Qualifications

• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• Nursing degree (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor) required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services in collaboration with the management team.
• Collaborates with subject matter experts and managers to foster teamwork and improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Supports nursing strategies, including hourly rounds and staff engagement initiatives.
• Provides recommendations related to interviewing, selecting, and training new staff; enforces disciplinary actions when needed.
• Assists with staff scheduling and manages labor according to patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
• Supports inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
