Qualifications

• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• PALS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN license required.
• Registered Nurse Diploma, ADN, or BSN.
• 1 year experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
• Participates in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services.
• Collaborates with managers to create a teamwork environment for improved outcomes.
• Supports a patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery when necessary.
• Implements nursing strategies, including staff rounding and other initiatives to improve engagement.
• Makes recommendations on interviewing, selecting, and training staff; supports performance evaluations and disciplinary actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and labor management.
• Supports inventory control and equipment management.
