Job summary

RRC Solutions Group is seeking a full-time Charge Nurse for the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) in Great Falls, MT. You will lead the PACU team, manage patient flow, and coordinate with OR staff in a fast-paced perioperative environment.

The role requires an RN license in Montana (or compact), 2+ years PACU experience, and CPAN/ASPAN-aligned practices. A BSN is preferred and leadership experience is highly valued. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred).
• Active, unrestricted RN licensure in Montana (or compact/endorsement eligibility).
• Core certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS; CPAN/ASPAN desired.
• Minimum 2+ years PACU nursing experience.
• Charge Nurse/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and optimize daily patient flow across Pre-Op and PACU.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate clinical care from admission through Phase II recovery.
• Act as primary shift leader: manage staffing, schedule adjustments, problem-solving.
• Ensure adherence to patient safety standards and CPAN/ASPAN guidelines.
• Collaborate with PACU Supervisor, surgeons, anesthesia, and allied staff.
• Provide direction and mentorship to Pre-Op/PACU team.
