Job summary

Genpak is seeking a Packaging Associate in Alabama to perform final review of finished products and packaging materials, ensuring quality before delivery to customers.

You will package products per specifications, apply labels and date codes, and palletize or box sleeves as required. The role includes restocking, rework, and operating ink jet printers, baggers, and sealing equipment with strict adherence to GMP/SQF.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
• Ability to read and apply packaging specifications.
• Basic math and counting skills for tallies and counts.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect finished products and packaging materials.
• Communicate concerns to Quality Auditor and Supervisors.
• Package products according to specifications including labeling and date coding.
• Palletize, stack boxes, and perform rework as needed.
• Operate packaging equipment and clear jams.
• Restock packaging materials and assist with scrap management.
• Follow GMP, SQF, PPE and SWP requirements.
• Participate in lean initiatives and training meetings.
