Job summary

Sofidel America, part of the Sofidel Group, is a leading paper products manufacturer with operations across ten states. The Packaging Operator role supports the Converting Production by operating packaging equipment to meet line goals safely and per customer specs on a rotating 12-hour day/night schedule.

Based in Oklahoma, this non-exempt position emphasizes GMP/HACCP, teamwork, and adherence to safety policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 6–12 months manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work across departments and in a team environment.
• Strong time-management and prioritization skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Proficient at basic arithmetic and measurement tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, adjust, and change-over packaging equipment to meet line goals.
• Work with others to achieve production rates and line uptime.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and notify maintenance staff of issues.
• Document quality, production, and maintenance issues on forms.
• Maintain clean, safe work area and follow safety policies.
• Assist other operators as needed.
