Job summary

Sofidel America in Duluth, MN is seeking a dependable Packaging Operator to safely operate converting and packaging equipment, producing high-quality paper products that meet customer specifications. This hands-on role includes on-the-job training.

You will work with operators, maintenance and quality teams to maintain production rates, document issues and follow GMP/HACCP and safety rules. Compensation starts at $25.85 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred or 6–12 months manufacturing experience.
• Ability to work cross-functionally in a team.
• Strong time-management skills and prioritization.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to use measuring tools and basic metrology equipment.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust packaging equipment.
• Maintain GMP/HACCP and safety standards in the workplace.
• Document quality, production and maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist other operators, maintenance, or production personnel as needed.
