Sofidel America, a subsidiary of the Sofidel Group, seeks a Packaging Operator to support Converting Production on a 12-hour day/night schedule with weekend rotation. You will operate packaging equipment to meet line goals safely and in compliance with customer specs.

This non-exempt role requires a high school diploma or GED and 6–12 months of manufacturing experience. Training is provided with opportunities for growth within a global, sustainability-driven company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or equivalent.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills for production tasks.
• Ability to learn Lift and Crane operation and operate equipment safely.
• Ability to work across departments and in a team environment.
• Good communication and documentation skills for reporting issues.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate, adjust, and change over packaging equipment.
• Work with line teammates to meet production rates and uptime goals.
• Perform routine maintenance and report issues to maintenance staff.
• Document quality, production, and maintenance issues on forms.
• Ensure products meet customer specifications and tolerances.
• Read schedules and work orders to determine proper equipment operation.
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized work area per housekeeping rules.
• Inspect equipment condition and notify supervisors of problems.
• Assist other operators and maintenance as needed.
• Follow GMP, HACCP, and safety policies at all times.
