Job summary

Sofidel America, a Sofidel Group subsidiary, is seeking a dedicated Packaging Operator to support converting production. The role ensures safe operation, adherence to GMP/HACCP, and product quality, while working with a team to meet production goals and schedules.

The position follows a 12‑hour day/night schedule with weekend rotation. Training and safety compliance are emphasized, with opportunities for professional growth within the group.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; 6–12 months manufacturing experience preferred.
Able to work across departments and in a team environment.
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.

Responsibilities

Set-up, operation, adjustment, and change-over of packaging equipment.
Work with line teammates to meet production rates and uptime.
Document quality, production and maintenance issues on reporting forms.
Ensure product specifications and tolerances are met.
Read schedules and manuals to operate equipment correctly.
Maintain safe, clean and organized work area.
