S&D Coffee in Concord, North Carolina seeks a Production Lead to provide line leadership and hands-on supervision of Packaging Operators. You will coordinate workloads, monitor KPIs, and ensure production targets and quality standards are met to fulfill customer requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating packaging line releases, aligning labor with schedules, serving as a trainer, handling shift transitions, resolving operator questions, and triaging maintenance calls to keep lines

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Working knowledge of Windows Office Suite, Adobe Illustrator, TOPS, JD Edwards, and Spec Management Systems is expected.
• Ability to work weekends and extended hours as needed to support operations.

Responsabilités

• Provide leadership and line management to the packaging team, coordinating workloads and monitoring progress.
• Coordinate movement of product between manufacturing and warehousing areas with expediters and warehouse staff.
• Authorize release of work orders to packing lines based on packaging schedule.
• Assign labor to packing lines based on schedule and capabilities.
• Serve as a trainer for packaging equipment and processes as needed.
• Facilitate smooth shift transitions and address operator questions or issues.
• Triage maintenance calls from packaging lines and support supervisor as needed.
• Fill in as Supervisor during vacations and other gaps.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
