Job summary

Westrock Coffee Company in Concord, NC seeks a Supervisory Leader to guide Packaging Operators, coordinate workloads, and ensure production targets, KPIs, and quality standards are met to satisfy customer requirements.

The role involves ensuring packaging lines operate efficiently, coordinating with material expediters and warehouse staff, and taking on trainer responsibilities as needed. It also requires shift coverage and performing administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; food/beverage experience a plus.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities; strong communication skills.
• Experience with Windows Office, Adobe Illustrator, TOPS, JD Edwards or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure packaging operators and lines operate efficiently and effectively.
• Coordinate movement of product with Material Expediters and warehouse staff.
• Coordinate release of work orders to packing lines per schedule.
• Assign labor to packing lines based on schedule and capabilities.
• Serve as a Qualified Trainer as needed.
• Play active role in shift transitions for smooth personnel changes.
• Field operator questions and escalate to supervisor when needed.
• Perform administrative shift/production tasks as assigned by supervisor.
• Triage maintenance calls from packaging lines.
• Fill in as Supervisor for vacation coverage.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
