Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year of machine operator experience outside SCN Bestco Inc. or 3 months at SCN Bestco or CPT through NCMI.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Able to work any shift as needed.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Basic computer skills to log training and email.
• Basic math skills for equipment settings.
• Effective written and oral English communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintains understanding of the production schedule for each shift and its influence on work.
• Operates packaging equipment, adjusts for defects, ensures correct weights and counts.
• Responsible for machine operation, packing and product quality.
• Sets up equipment, scales and net weights; ensures proper piece count.
• Manages quick changeovers to keep lines running with minimal delays.
• Collaborates with Packers to troubleshoot and maintain uptime.
• Performs cleaning and general maintenance; documents batch records and inspections.
