Job summary

KLA Industries in Lyndhurst, NJ is seeking an Industrial Machinery Sales Representative to drive new business for capital equipment solutions, including packaging machinery such as baggers and stretch wrappers. You will lead the full sales cycle, build lasting customer relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure satisfaction from initial contact to installation.

This full-time role requires field visits and collaboration with internal teams, with compensation including $80k - $90k salary plus

Qualifications

• Proven experience in capital equipment or industrial machinery sales.
• Strong technical aptitude to present machinery specs and benefits.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory.
• Experience in packaging automation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, industry networking, trade shows, and referrals.
• Conduct on-site visits and technical consultations to assess customer needs and recommend appropriate machinery solutions.
• Manage the full sales process from initial contact through proposal development, quoting, negotiation, and closing.
• Collaborate with engineering, service, and project teams to ensure smooth equipment installation and customer onboarding.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular follow-ups and value-added support.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to overall company growth.
