Accounting Search in Lyndhurst, NJ seeks an Industrial Machinery Sales Representative to lead the full sales cycle for capital equipment including packaging machinery. You will generate leads, develop new business, negotiate contracts, and maintain long-term customer relationships through field visits and office coordination.

The role involves identifying opportunities, presenting technical machinery solutions, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure smooth installations and onboarding

Qualifications

• Proven experience in capital equipment or industrial machinery sales
• Strong technical aptitude to understand machinery specs and benefits
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a sales territory/region
• Experience with packaging automation systems is a plus
• Familiarity with CRM tools and sales reporting processes

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold calling, networking, trade shows, and referrals
• Conduct on-site visits and technical consultations to assess customer needs and recommend machinery solutions
• Manage the full sales process from initial contact through proposal development, quoting, negotiation, and closing
• Collaborate with engineering, service, and project teams to ensure smooth equipment installation and onboarding
• Maintain and grow existing accounts through regular follow-ups and value-added support
• Consistently meet or exceed sales targets and contribute to company growth

Job Description

Role Description

The Salesperson will be responsible for generating leads, developing new business, and managing the full sales cycle for capital equipment solutions, including packaging machinery such as baggers, stretch wrappers, and related automation systems. The Salesperson will also be responsible for building long-term customer relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.

This role includes both customer-facing field visits and time spent at the B&C Industries office managing sales activities, preparing proposals, and collaborating with internal teams.

Responsibilities
