Job summary

B&C Industries in Lyndhurst, NJ is seeking an Industrial Machinery Sales Representative to generate leads, manage full sales cycles, and sell capital equipment such as baggers and stretch wrappers. You will visit customers, prepare proposals, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful implementations.

You will build long-term relationships, negotiate contracts, and strive to meet or exceed sales targets while delivering customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in capital equipment or industrial machinery sales.
• Ability to understand and present machinery specifications and benefits.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage a sales territory and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through leads and referrals.
• Conduct on-site visits and technical consultations to assess customer needs.
• Manage full sales process from initial contact to proposal and closing.
• Collaborate with engineering, service, and project teams to ensure installation and onboarding.
• Maintain and grow existing accounts with regular follow-ups.
• Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
