Job summary

Amcor is seeking a Field Service Technician to provide on-site service for Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment at protein processor plants. The role demands mechanical and electrical aptitude with strong problem-solving and customer-facing skills.

You will perform maintenance, support installations, and train customers on proper operation, while upholding Amcor’s safety-first values. The position requires travel and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, with a focus on delivering

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical or mechanical technology.
• Megatronics training and certification preferred.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot packaging equipment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a safety leader and puts safety first in all responsibilities.
• Troubleshoots Rotary Vacuum Chamber and other packaging equipment at customer sites.
• Provides preventive maintenance and technical support to maintain equipment performance.
• Documents work activities and time utilization accurately.
• Supports installation/start-up and training for customers on equipment operation.
