Electrical Automation Services is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for an on-site Glendale, AZ facility. You will program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley PLCs on high-speed beverage lines, acting as the on-shift controls expert to support operations, maintenance, and quality teams.
The role requires 4+ years in industrial automation, strong PLC/HMI/VFD knowledge, and willingness to work a 12-hour 2-2-3 night rotation. Relocation assistance is available and a 20% target bonus is offered.
Qualifications
- 4+ years of industrial automation on high-speed production lines
- Hands-on PLC programming, not just troubleshooting
- Ability to read electrical schematics and control drawings
- Strong communication across plant departments
Responsabilités
- Serve as the primary on-shift controls and automation expert
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 troubleshooting for automated equipment
- Diagnose PLC, HMI, VFD, servo, and network issues and restore production
- Identify recurring problems and implement permanent corrective actions
- Develop and execute controls projects to improve safety, quality, reliability, and throughput
- Mentor maintenance technicians and operators
