Nippon Sanso Matheson, Inc. is seeking a Packaged Gases Customer Service Representative in Milwaukee, WI. The role centers on counter and phone sales, order processing, and providing product information to customers in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will assist in merchandising, pricing, and promotions, work with the site team, and support external sales while ensuring accurate data entry and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with strong customer service skills.
• Experience in inside sales or outbound calling is desirable.
• Ability to learn product line and explain benefits to customers.
• Basic math and data entry skills; proficient with common software.

Responsabilités

• Assist customers in person, by phone, and online with orders and accounts.
• Support sales through merchandising, pricing, and promotions.
• Process accounts payable/receivable and follow up on leads.
• Coordinate with outside sales and management; lift up to 50 lbs when needed.

Packaged Gases Customer Service Representative - Milwaukee, WI

Primary role is to provide counter sales at our Retail locations. This includes overall location sales support, phone sales, order taking and assist in the merchandising, pricing and promotional sales. Provides customers with product information and features. Reports to Site Manager and interacts with customers, Matheson sales, management and other operations personnel.

Position Accountabilities Assist customers both in person, over the phone and on the computer, with the processing of orders, collection on accounts and in processing accounts payable. Follow up on leads, and assist in development of industrial, commercial and residential customer sales. Merchandising, stocking, and pricing responsibly and will assist with special sales and promotions. Learn product line and be able to explain product benefits and features to customers. To organize work, problem solve, and multitask in a fast paced environment. Provide excellent customer service in a fast paced environment. Assist outside sales personnel on an ongoing basis. Provide supervisory and team leadership on an occasional basis when site management is absent. Perform other projects and duties as assigned. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

• Ability to use personal computer (email, word & excel) to input data and process information and to master job specific software (mainframe computer).
• Ability to work safely and comply with all safety rules and standards.
• Basic math skills; ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, including ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

• High School Graduate with diploma and/or prior experience in outbound calling/inside sales, outside sales or marketing desirable.

Monday-Friday day hours, no Holidays or Weekends, paid vacation, personal, sick days, holidays & 401(k).

Pay range: $20-25 HR
