Job summary

FedEx is seeking a Part Time Package Handler trainer to educate and supervise peers in loading, unloading, palletizing and scanning packages. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency and adherence to dock procedures as you rotate through areas such as Loader, Unloader, and SWAK.

You will train others, reinforce safety standards, and assist in implementing new procedures while working in a fast-paced environment and handling packages in a physically demanding setting.

Qualifications

• No experience required; six months as a PH with FedEx Ground preferred.
• Ability to train multiple peer PHs simultaneously.
• Ability to follow instruction and safety methods.
• Ability to discern numbers to sort packages correctly.
• Ability to use basic loading tools and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Trains new PHs on unloading, loading, palletizing, carrying, SWAK, and smalls handling techniques.
• Provides training to other PHs in unloading, carrying, loading, and palletizing techniques.
• Reinforces dock safety standards among peers.
• Loads/unloads, palletizes, lifts, carries, pushes and pulls packages while training others.
• Assists in implementing new package handling procedures.
