Federal Express Corporation in the United States is seeking a trainer for Package Handlers to teach unloading, loading, palletizing, and scanning techniques, ensuring safe and efficient package movement. You will train peers, reinforce safety standards, and support procedures across areas such as SWAK and QA.

The role involves working with loaders, scanners, and dock equipment, with shifts that may vary. Prior PH experience is preferred, but not required, and good communication is essential.

Qualifications

• No formal education required.
• No experience required; six months as PH with FedEx Ground preferred.
• Must be able to lift 10–50 pounds.

Responsabilités

• Train new PHs in unloading, loading, palletizing, carrying, smalls handling, SWAK, and non-conveyable package handling techniques.
• Provide training to other PHs who need additional instruction on unloading, carrying, loading, palletizing, smalls handling, SWAK, or non-conveyable package handling techniques.
• Provide feedback on proper package handling techniques.
• Reinforce dock safety standards among peer PHs.
• Understand and demonstrate by example all necessary processes and procedures.
• Update managers on conditions during the sort to aid efficiency decisions.
• Assist in implementing new package handling procedures and techniques.
• Regularly load/unload, palletize, lift, carry, push and pull packages while training other PHs.
• Utilize hand-to-surface methods for all package handling.
• Load/unload packages onto/from vehicles, trailers, pallets, carts and load gratings.
• Lift/carry/push/pull packages for ~3-5 hour shifts and potentially multiple shifts.
• Determine conveyor system by scanning packages and sorting accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
