Job summary

Our client, a premier event and gaming destination in Southern Oregon, seeks a proactive Sales Manager to grow group, convention, and event business for its destination resort and 25,000-square-foot convention center.

This role focuses on building an outbound sales engine, leveraging established Pacific Northwest connections, and traveling as needed to cultivate relationships and convert opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated hotel, resort, convention, destination or group-sales experience; at least two years in relevant conference or hotel sales.
• Strong working knowledge of the Pacific Northwest meetings, conventions and group-sales market.
• Proactive hunter with ability to build territory, create target-account lists, make outbound calls and open new relationships.

Responsibilities

• Sell meeting space, guestrooms, banquet/event business or comparable hospitality products.
• Develop relationships and generate demand in-market across Pacific Northwest.
• Travel to the resort as needed and work with on-property team to optimize results.
