Job summary

Hotel Equities is seeking a Sales Manager for Sun Mountain Lodge in Winthrop, WA. The role is open to on-site or Seattle-based candidates and focuses on cultivating relationships with the Seattle and Pacific Northwest meetings and events communities to drive group sales and experiences at a premier destination.

The ideal candidate has hospitality or resort sales experience, excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills, and the ability to travel for client meetings and events.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous hotel, resort, destination, meeting, wedding, or event sales experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel regularly for client meetings, networking events, trade shows, and property visits.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and grow relationships within the Seattle and Pacific Northwest meetings and events community.
• Prospect for new business through networking, referrals, industry events, and strategic outreach.
• Grow existing accounts while identifying new opportunities.
• Represent Sun Mountain Lodge at industry events, trade shows, client meetings, and networking functions.
• Develop targeted sales strategies that generate new business and increase revenue.
• Manage the sales process from initial prospecting through contracting and account management.
• Negotiate agreements that create value for both clients and the resort.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional client experiences.
• Maintain organized account records, sales activities, and customer profiles.
• Serve as a passionate ambassador for Sun Mountain Lodge and the Methow Valley.
